Allison Montalbano

Allison Montalbano, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients with endocrine disorders.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Arkansas before completing her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Allison began her career in family medicine, where she developed extensive experience managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions. She later transitioned to endocrinology, where she discovered her passion for helping patients manage Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other endocrine conditions.
Her passion for diabetes care is deeply personal. Having close family members with Type 1 diabetes, Allison has witnessed firsthand the daily challenges of living with the condition throughout her life. This experience has strengthened her commitment to helping patients navigate their diabetes journey with compassion, education, and evidence-based care.
Drawing on her background in nutrition and primary care, Allison takes a personalized, patient-centered approach to treatment. She believes that education, collaboration, and preventive care are the foundation of long-term health and is committed to empowering patients with the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to successfully manage their conditions and improve their overall quality of life.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys developing new gluten-free recipes, spending time with her energetic toddler and family dog, and making lasting memories with her family.
