Dr. Kriti Gupta is a board-certified adult endocrinologist joining Sugar Land Endocrine & Thyroid, where she brings a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to the management of endocrine conditions. With specialized training in diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal, and pituitary diseases, Dr. Gupta is dedicated to helping patients understand their conditions and taking an active role in their care. Dr. Gupta values clear communication, compassion, and long-term partnerships with patients. She looks forward to building strong relationships within the community and delivering comprehensive, high quality endocrine care.

    Dr. Gupta completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma, where she also served as Chief Resident. During her residency, she focused her research on Diabetes Prevention. She subsequently completed her Endocrinology fellowship at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Her research during fellowship concentrated on osteoporosis, both in prevention of fractures, as well as studying effects of medications on bone health. Dr. Gupta previously practiced as an endocrinologist in Maryland and Austin for several years but has since moved back to Houston to be closer to her family.

   Dr. Gupta has the Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound (ECNU) for additional training in thyroid ultrasound and biopsy. She has specific interests in diabetic technology, bone and calcium disorders, and management of endocrine diseases in pregnancy. She is an active member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

   She stays active by running after her toddlers, and is known for her friendly bedside manner and for putting her patients at ease. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
