Dr. Anjani Pandya is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine and board eligible in Endocrinology. She is a native Houstonian, raised in Spring and graduated from Klein High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.  

 

After completing her residency, she completed specialty training with a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at Houston Methodist. During this time, she gained a special interest in obesity medicine and earned board certification in the specialty as well. In addition, she trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center where she gained experience managing various endocrine cancers. 

 

Dr. Pandya has experience in treating hormonal disorders of the pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid, and adrenal glands. She manages diabetes, lipid disorders, obesity, osteoporosis, as well as disorders related to male and female reproduction. She is an active member in several professional societies including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, American Diabetes Association, Endocrine Society, American Thyroid Association, and the Texas Medical Association.  

 

Dr. Pandya lives in Missouri City with her husband who is a dentist and a new baby girl. She is fluent in English and Gujurati. During her time off, she enjoys traveling, trying various cuisines, hiking, and scuba diving.
